スティーブン・モティ（代表取締役会長）は、アフリカとアジア市場の経済大国である日本との間の溝を埋めるために、東京で GSC ホールディングス株式会社を設立しました。彼のビジョンは、特に希土類金属と石油・ガス貿易を中心に、アフリカの資源豊富な開発手段をアジア太平洋経済協力 (APEC) と環太平洋パートナーシップ (TPP) にもたらすことです。

GSC ホールディングスは、再生可能エネルギー (GSC エネルギー)、石油・ガス (GSC 石油・ガス)、通信 (GSC 通信)、暗号通貨マイニング、商品取引、ジュニアマイニング、日本化粧品・医療サプリメントに関心を持っており、ナイジェリア連邦共和国、カメルーン、ケニア、南アフリカ、日本に拠点を置いています。

モティ氏は、2000年より長年にわたり、鉱業、銀行部門、資産管理、商工会議所、メディア、広報の分野でGSC をグローバル企業として率いて来ました。そして、アフリカ、アジア、ヨーロッパで戦略計画、アドバイザリー、プロジェクト管理、財務報告、調査報道、プロジェクト開発のさまざまな役割を担ってきました。

モティ氏は、ローズ大学、ニューヨーク PR 研究所、ツワネ工科大学など、さまざまな機関で政治学、金融学、メディア学を学びました。アングロ アメリカンとデビアス コンソリデーテッド マインズからグループ職業奨学金を授与されました。 （非技術分野でこのような奨学金を授与されたのは、これが初めてです）

注目すべき業績としては、世界経済フォーラム アフリカサミットでの活動、ドイツのハノーバーで開催された世界最大のIT見本市CeBITへのGSCの参加（GSCはCeBITに参加した最初の南アフリカの黒人企業でした）、GSC Energyを率いてカメルーン政府との27年間のパートナーシップを獲得し、同国北部とナイジェリア北東部、チャド、ニジェールに隣接する地域に総額22億ドルの太陽光発電所を建設したことなどが挙げられます。

モティ氏は、アフリカ全土のプロジェクトインフラ開発に没頭するグローバル企業へとGSCを変革し、アフリカの鉱物資源の付加価値と第4次産業革命のインターセクショナリティを新たな経済フロンティアとして統合しました。最終的な目標は、アフリカ大陸の鉱業、石油、ガスの主要企業になることです。

Mr. Steven Moti – Group Executive Chairman

Mr. Steven Moti founded and heads GSC Holdings Co. Ltd., with a Tokyo, Japan based office working to bridge the gap between Africa and Asian markets including the economic influential Japan.

Mr. Moti’s vision is to bring Africa’s resource-rich developmental base to the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), particularly with rare earth metals and oil & natural gas trade.

GSC Holdings has interests in renewable energy through GSC Energy, oil and gas through GSC Oil & Gas, telecoms through GSC Telecoms, crypto mining, commodities trading, junior mining and cosmetics and nutritional supplements.

GSC Holdings has a presence in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Cameroon, Kenya, Ivory Coast, South Africa and Japan.

Mr. Moti has led GSC Holdings since February, 2000. Over the years he has worked with global companies in the mining industry, the banking sector, asset management, chambers of commerce and industry, the media and in public affairs.

Mr. Moti has assumed different roles in the strategic planning, advisory, project management, financial reporting, investigative reporting and project development across Africa, Asia and Europe.

Mr. Moti read politics, finance and media studies at different educational institutions including: Rhodes University in South Africa, Public Relations Institute of New York, and the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria. He was a recipient of a Group Vocational Scholarship from Anglo-American and De Beers Consolidated Mines, the first recipient of such a scholarship in a non-technical field.

Some of the notable achievements include working for the World Economic Forum (WEF), Africa Summit, GSC Holdings participating at CeBIT, the world’s largest IT fair in Hannover, Germany (GSC was the first black-owned South African company to participate at CeBIT), leading GSC Energy to acquiring a 27-year partnership with the government of Cameroon to build solar PV parks with a cumulative value of $2.2 billion in the northern parts of the country and bordering north-east Nigeria, Chad and Niger.

Mr. Moti has transformed GSC Holdings to be a global player immersed in project infrastructure development across Africa, consolidating the value-add on of Africa’s mineral wealth and the intersectionality of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) as a new economic frontier. The ultimate aim is to become a major player in the mining industry, oil and natural gas on the African continent.
